Large pins can be utilized any where space is not limited. The resilient sleeve and internally ribbed design allow both the original pin and the slightly expanded refractory die to be interchangeable, thereby allowing for a single base. The sleeves also allow the pins to rest on a margin of base stone when fully inserted.

The smaller mandibular pins are designed for limited space. The triangular shape and the offset pin allows this pin to be placed in an alternating fashion.
